When I first thought of using a "Kitchen Designer" for my relatively small project ($12K), I thought "oh, they won't even talk to me" but Louise and Bonnita were amazing! Louise was upfront and honest about the challenges with my initial design and came up with great ideas for a recycling centre, a flour bin, where the dishwasher should be in relation to my dishes, etc. I ended up with a functional, beautiful kitchen which I couldn't be happier with! We were struggling to fit the features we wanted in a kitchen design within the framework of a house we love, and have lived in for thirty plus years. We had taken our tentative plans to a few places, but it was Louise at KDP who offered us a layout that met all our specifications, and added a few suggestions we had not anticipated. It was a fortunate day when I walked into the KDP+ showroom to discuss a kitchen project I was contemplating. Louise O'Haran and Bonnita Mitchell gave me a warm welcome, helpful advise, and put me in touch with construction and electrical contractors to get quotes on preparation work. My wife and I searched all over the Halifax area and beyond for replacement countertops. This process took six months of visiting kitchen designers and countertop retailers. One of the first we called upon was KDP where we were treated in such a friendly manner even though we were not ready to place an order.
