We can help! Kitchen Design Plus is a kitchen and bath design studio located on Dresden Row. We serve the general public, as well as local builders and renovators, in the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding areas.

Louise O’Haran

Head Kitchen Designer / Owner

Louise trained in Interior Design at the International Academy of Design in Toronto, Canada, as well as with the National kitchen and Bath Association over a seven year period and has been in the industry for 20+ years. In 2000 she opened her first custom cabinetry business Reclamation Point in Toronto, honing her skills in all aspects of custom cabinetry. She prides herself in continual education and knowledge within her field of the kitchen and bath industry. Louise offers a real enthusiasm working with her clients to achieve their dream kitchen offering not only cabinetry plans but also lighting, electrical and color consultation.

Louise has been nominated for the 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards and nominated by the Better Business Bureau for the 2016 Torch Award for Ethics.

Kitchen Design Plus has won the “Outstanding Small Business Philanthropist Award” for the 2015 Maritime Philanthropy Awards as nominated by Adsum for Women and Children.

We are also the proud recipient of the 2013 Nova Scotia Home Builders Peak Award for Best New Member.
