It was a fortunate day when I walked into the KDP+ showroom to discuss a kitchen project I was contemplating. Louise O’Haran and Bonnita Mitchell gave me a warm welcome, helpful advise, and put me in touch with construction and electrical contractors to get quotes on preparation work. I eventually scaled back the project to just a peninsula counter, but continued to get the kind attention from KDP+ that one would normally expect for only a much larger project. Louise and Bonnita also came up with some brilliant ideas to solve some design problems – arranging the counter seating to face out instead of into the kitchen. The subcontractors used by KDP+ were without exception highly skilled and helpful in meeting my needs. Louise and Bonnita continued to monitor the progress of my project throughout, getting updates from suppliers and keeping me informed. The end result was a beautiful high quality addition to my kitchen. I was also impressed with KDP’s commitment to local charities, reducing their cost in exchange for a donation to a worthy cause. I would highly recommend KDP+ to anyone interested in remodeling their kitchen.

I completed a kitchen renovation within the past year and used KDP + for both the design and the installation of the kitchen. KDP owner Louise O’Haran was a pleasure to work with. We were dealing with a grim galley kitchen and she helped me create a space that I really never thought possible in our home. Light and pretty with ample and creative storage for all of our dinnerware, appliances etc. She was always easy to contact and assisted my husband and I in finding a reliable contractor. Had a great experience with KDP. My kitchen was well overdue for an overhaul. It was dark, and small; the dishwasher kept falling out and the countertop was rotting. So deciding to renovate was easy, but I was worried the renovation itself would be stressful. Louise O’Haran and Kitchen Design Plus made me feel confident, and made the whole process easy and fun. That’s no small feat when you’re living through a major kitchen reno with three kids and a dog!

Any time I had a question or a concern, KDP called me back right away to talk it over. She referred me to a great contractor to take down a wall and do some other work, and she and the contractor worked seamlessly together. I felt confident and in good hands, both as we worked through the design process and as the new kitchen took shape.

I love my new kitchen so much. There’s so much more cabinet and counter space now. My cabinets look fantastic, and the countertop she suggested looks great as well. I also love that my cabinetry was made by a Maritime company, as it’s so important to support local, especially these days.
