My wife and I searched all over the Halifax area and beyond for replacement countertops. This process took six months of visiting kitchen designers and countertop retailers. One of the first we called upon was KDP where we were treated in such a friendly manner even though we were not ready to place an order. Despite an attractive price we had to do our due diligence and checked with many others, but in the end we came back to Louise and Bonnita. We got multiple quotes for a new kitchen and selected KDP for our project. We received a fair / competitive price as an outcome of the design process. Louise (the owner) spent much time with us going over all of the design options with our ideas in mind. We appreciated her years of design experience and ended up going with her suggestions that added a new dimension to the kitchen design – we are very pleased with the outcome. She was very thorough with measurements and provided timely responses to any of our questions. The installation was on time and of excellent quality. We recently had the pleasure of using the services of KDP to design a full kitchen renovation. Louise and Bonnita were very exacting in the creation of the design and extremely generous in their time to arrive at a final set of plans that met our needs. Despite the flat fee structure we never felt rushed; they both went out of their way to answer our questions and deal with any concerns that arose. Louise is a take-charge individual. She did a very good job of managing the schedule, all while keeping us informed at every step of the renovation. I had my kitchen done in July . I found kitchen design and from the first II was treated with respect. Louise listened to what I wanted and helped me plan out kitchen which I am now pleased with. I had first saw her in Feb but due to Covid nothing could be started until building opened. I live in a condo.. All during covid she kept in touch which was comforting as I knew I was not forgotten.
