We were searching for how to approach a kitchen and bath reno for a modest war time house. We dropped into Louise’s showroom and were thrilled to find someone with not only an understanding of what we wanted but also a fine sense of proportion. We wanted functional, affordable changes which would enable us to age (gracefully) in our house. Louise presented us with an efficient design which balanced budget and quality. Louise always takes that next step to ensure that her clients are happy — guiding and directing colour and material choices to fit within budget. I can’t think of a greater compliment than ‘I wouldn’t change a thing’. We have been living with and using our new kitchen for 3 months now and we are happy to say that it is as functional as it is beautiful. We love spending time in the kitchen and just naturally gravitate there. You can have several people working in it and it still functions well. The open flow between the kitchen and adjacent sitting area is ideal for entertaining.

Our project was an excellent collaboration of my design ideas with KDP’s kitchen design expertise and signature style. Of the companies that we contacted, KDP was the only company that sent out the designers to measure the space and meet with you – the result – a better space.

It was a fortunate day when I walked into the KDP+ showroom to discuss a kitchen project I was contemplating. Louise O’Haran and Bonnita Mitchell gave me a warm welcome, helpful advise, and put me in touch with construction and electrical contractors to get quotes on preparation work. I eventually scaled back the project to just a peninsula counter, but continued to get the kind attention from KDP+ that one would normally expect for only a much larger project. Louise and Bonnita also came up with some brilliant ideas to solve some design problems – arranging the counter seating to face out instead of into the kitchen. The subcontractors used by KDP+ were without exception highly skilled and helpful in meeting my needs. Louise and Bonnita continued to monitor the progress of my project throughout, getting updates from suppliers and keeping me informed. The end result was a beautiful high quality addition to my kitchen. I was also impressed with KDP’s commitment to local charities, reducing their cost in exchange for a donation to a worthy cause. I would highly recommend KDP+ to anyone interested in remodeling their kitchen.
